Join us at Spring Bloom for a Grapevine Foraging and Wreath Making Workshop instructed by local flower farmer florist Kay Spiros from Kays Boukays. Learn how to forage for and create your everlasting Quarry Hill Vineyard Grapevine wreath, as you learn grapevine pruning techniques and wreath creation in this hands on-experiential based workshop. A fresh spring wreath is the perfect accent to any home for the season; we look forward to cutting and creating with you!
- Workshops run 90-120 minutes
- Recommended for ages 12 and older
- Participants will explore Quarry Hill Vineyards to harvest grapevines and neighboring greenery
- Heavy hand work required for un-tangling and wrapping vines for wreath construction
- Dress for the weather (i.e. farm boots and work gloves)
- Embellish your wreath with an assortment of fresh spring greens such as twigs, freshly pruned apple branches, etc.
- Silk organza ribbon available for additional purchase (or bring your own!)
- All equipment provided
- Limited space of 10 people per workshop
- Tickets are non-refundable; advance purchase required
- Rain or shine; lessons will be given in the barn for inclement weather
