Educational Farm Tour Registration - 2025
Up to a one-hour and thirty minute private orchard tour that includes agricultural themed learning objectives and fun educational activities. Group Leaders and Orchard Staff will work together to select some or all of the following offerings to craft the best experience for your group depending on your budget, timeline, and goals:
Apple picking; fresh popcorn and fresh apple cider snack; farmer introductions and farm safety; golden retriever cuddle time; tractor-pulled wagon ride through the orchards and adjacent MetroParks; packinghouse tour and live action visibility of workers; general farm tour where you'll learn age-appropriate topics such as blossom anatomy, pollination, different type of of fruit trees, post harvest technologies, food safety, and supply chain- delivery logistics to understand how apples go from our trees to your table.
Storytelling with orchard-themed children's books and a chance to play on "haystack tower" rounds out this farm experience for the younger folks - OR - some quiet time at our picnic tables for continued conversation is great for the older folks. We can accommodate a wide age range of guests!
