MASON ROAD CRATE
Ten fresh, seasonal apples
A sampling of locally made snacks from our Market Barn: popcorn, applesauce, maple syrup, caramel dip, and honey
Stamped apple variety map and tasting guide
A visit to our Market Barn on Mason Road in Berlin Heights, Ohio, is more than just a trip to the farm stand. Walk past crates of just-picked apples and into the warm, bustling barn, and you’re greeted by second-generation farmer Bill, a steaming cup of cider, and, if you’re lucky, a friendly nuzzle from farm dogs Hudson and Walter. Inside you’ll find our apples (of course) and plenty of local goods from our friends and neighbors. We’ve picked our favorites to share with you here, in a beautiful wooden box, handmade by our Amish friend Dan Weaver down the road in Brinkhaven. (Dan also makes all the bushel-sized crates we use in the field for harvesting.) The only thing missing is Bill’s warm handshake and welcoming smile.
